Dr. Dean Licenblat

Principal Dental Surgeon

Dr Dean Licenblat is the first Australian Diplomate for the American Board of Oral Implantology.

He has been in private general practice in Sydney since graduating from the University of Sydney’s Dental program, and has also completed his Bachelor of Science with honours in Microbiology. He also holds a Master’s Degree from the Goethe University in Frankfurt with a focus on Oral Implantology and Bone Grafting.

As a “Diplomate” member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), Dr. Dean Licenblat together with Sydney Dental Aesthetics & Implants is listed in the “Leading Implant Centres of the World” directory, an international database that includes practices involved in implant-related education and training. This listing is independent of specialist registration or endorsement in Australia.

Dr. Licenblat is Treasurer of the ASID (Australian Society of Implant Dentistry) and a senior tutor for the Master’s program in Oral Implantology for Goethe University, Frankfurt. His role includes involvement in mentoring and supporting Australian dental practitioners completing the program.

He participates in continuing professional development and attends postgraduate education programs both in Australia and internationally. Insights gained through this training are incorporated into the practice to support contemporary clinical approaches for patients requiring implant-related or restorative care.

Dentist/Sedationist

Dr Melissa Licenblat has worked in private general practice across a number of dental surgeries in the Sydney metropolitan area. She holds a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Sydney and an Honours degree in Dentistry. Dr Melissa Licenblat is one of the principal dentists at SDAI.

She has completed a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Conscious Sedation and Pain Control), which supports her work in providing IV sedation for suitable patients. In addition to her role at SDAI, Dr Melissa provides sedation services for other dental practices in Sydney, Wollongong, Goulburn and the Central Coast.

Dr Joanna Wyszynski

Dentist

Dr Joanna’s dental journey started when she was 16 years old, working as a dental nurse in the inner west. Her fascination in health and wellbeing pathed her way to completing her Medical Science Degree before graduating from Charles Sturt University to become a dentist in 2013. These experiences have contributed to her approach to patient care today.

She enjoys supporting patients in maintaining their oral health and takes a considerate and patient-focused approach during appointments. Dr Joanna works with patients of all ages, including children and individuals who experience dental anxiety.

Dr Joanna speaks Polish fluently and enjoys connecting with patients who share this background. Outside of dentistry, she spends much of her time with her young son, Alessio.

Dr Antonio Najdovski

Cosmetic Dentist

With additional training from the Kois Centre in Seattle and the Pankey Institute in Florida, Dr Antonio has developed experience in a range of restorative and implant-related procedures. His work includes treatment planning for patients requiring broader rehabilitation of their oral health.

Dr Antonio provides crown and bridge treatments, dental implants and other restorative options based on individual clinical needs. He focuses on clear communication and a considered approach to help patients understand their treatment pathways.

He has completed training in techniques that involve injections for jaw-related concerns and facial aesthetic treatments. He also works with clear aligners and other tooth alignment systems. These skills allow him to offer patients a variety of treatment options within his scope of practice.

Lilian

Oral Health Therapist

ilian is a qualified Oral Health Therapist with an interest in oral hygiene, preventive care and periodontal therapy. She also provides cosmetic dental procedures within her scope of practice.

She completed a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy at the University of Sydney and has undertaken further postgraduate study to extend her scope to include adult restorative treatment. Lilian focuses on supporting patients in understanding their oral health and the factors that can contribute to their dental wellbeing.

Outside of work, Lilian enjoys travelling and exploring different cultures and cuisines.

Liz Raikes

Hygienist

Originally from London, Liz has called Sydney home since 1998. She has worked in the dental field for more than 30 years and completed the National Certificate in Dental Assisting and Radiography, followed by a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the University of Otago in 2000.

Liz has a particular interest in periodontics and provides dental hygiene care with a focus on supporting patients in maintaining their oral health. She works with patients of all ages, including individuals who experience dental anxiety, and aims to create a considerate and organised environment during appointments.

Outside of dentistry, Liz is a qualified Iyengar yoga teacher and enjoys sharing her interest in health and wellbeing through regular teaching. She values a balanced approach to life and incorporates this perspective into her professional work.
